Astrology of 2024 - An Overview

This is a high level overview of the astrology of 2024 - transcript below:

Hello, and welcome again. Today I'm going to go for a really high-level overview of the astrology of 2024. We've got a few major aspects or transits that I'm going to go over with you. I'm also going to let you know about the eclipses and where they are taking place, and when, and a couple of retrogrades that we've got going on.

So, let's get to it. I'm going to pull my notes up here.

Alright. So, first thing in a few days from, I believe, when this video on January twentieth, twenty-first, depending on where you are in the world we have Pluto moving into Aquarius. This is huge. This doesn't happen very often.

It will be in Aquarius for 20 years. And so, this is a major kind of shift change in a way of being so. This represents a shift and a change, a transformation for humanity.

So, Pluto was also an Aquarius last march to mid-June.

It's getting ready to make the transition to be there full-time. So, we had a little sampling of it last spring march to mid-June of what it's going to be like. So, you might want to look back. At that time of of the year 2023 march to mid-June and see how things were going on for you to maybe get a sample of how things might start unfolding over the next 20 years.

So, it's been at this anorectic degree, which is the 29th degree of the sign of any sign.

So, it's waiting to shift back, shift into the new sign, and that twenty-ninth degree. It's almost like that pregnant pause. It's the culmination of the energy of that particular sign. And so, it's almost kind of like a little check in or I. you know, it's like the midterm exam or final exam period, where we're kind of checking in on the energies of that particular sign. So that that sign is Capricorn that we are currently leaving, or Pluto is leaving and moving into the sign of a queries, so we'll get. It'll go back into Capricorn a little bit in the fall.

Kind of do a little final clean up, maybe a little review of what it got wrong on the exam. And kind of, you know. Fix up those things, and then it will head full force into a Aquarius for the next 20 years. So that this Pluto is the planet of transformation. It's the planet of power, of control.

And so, moving into Aquarius is going to bring us those transformations for humanity, probably new technology which we're already seeing glimpses of with AI kind of becoming much more prevalent. That sort of a thing. It's really a changing of paradigms. a changing of how we think about things and how we how we operate in the world, and with it moving into a fixed air sign, Aquarius.

This is going to be around ideas, thoughts, belief systems.

So, the thing about Pluto, which I think sometimes it kinda gets a bad rap because it can be not easy, as we're going through. Pluto transits, because what it does is it? It destroys, it demolishes, it burns things to the ground.

Kind of like. When you're remodeling your kitchen, you rip out the cabinets right? You rip out the sink. You take things out down to the, to the bare bones, so that you can then reconstruct something more efficient, more beautiful.

And that is Pluto's function, right? That is how it works. So, it's kind of like that, Phoenix, right? It rises from the its own destruction.

So, we can think about experiencing things in this idea of yeah, of aquarian themes, technology, new ideas, new thoughts, humanity as a whole. And it might not be easy necessarily, right? Like, we might go through some growing pains with it, but out the other side there tends to be some kind of a growth or an experience that we're better for So some examples, and the last the last time it was in Torah, I'm sorry Aquarius was around like 1777 to 1797, that 200-year period and as we know around that time, is where we had a lot of revolutions right? And where the overthrow of the old way of governing what's happening? towards something more humanitarian. So out with the kind of you know that the I don't wanna say feudal system. But that you know, there's a king. it's a word for that. Monarchies, monarchies. So, moving from monarchy type establishments to a more democratic type system. So basically, a change in that.

And yes, it was uncomfortable going through those changes.

But at the other side, hopefully, you know something better. But now we're time. It's time for the next kind of progression. So again, we might see things where hopefully things become more humanitarian. Which is Aquarius.

But again, there might be some, you know, some struggles to get there.

Okay, I don't wanna bring in all doom and glue. But just, you know, to be aware of the fact that growth

growth happens and sometimes growth is painful. I mean, even as humans bodies, we have growing pains when we're growing right. So there's. you know, we have to do the work we have to get through. And we can get through just creating awareness around that, but also hopefully bringing in hope about it as well.

Alright. So next kind of big thing is April twentieth, and we have Jupiter conject Uranus. This is a big. This is a big one.

I really like this one. Jupiter is the great beneath the greater. Beneath it is the giver of Blessings. It's the revealer of truth, and combined with Uranus, which is about Sudden change surprises revolution as well. We get, we get revolutionary change. We get expansion of, you know, like a sudden change, we get breakthroughs. That's a great Jupiter-Uranus word - breakthroughs sudden expansive growth opportunities, sudden opportunities. Also, I mean some of this could be shocking as well. Right like you're just brings in that element of like Whoa! Where did that come from?

And so something to look for around that area. And again, you know, these things don't happen like, necessarily, these are big, slow, moving planets. And so they're they make their way towards each other, and it takes a bit of time. So we actually can start feeling some of this a little before the actual April twentieth date when they're exact and a little bit after as well. So you know, you could give it a few, you know, couple of weeks before and after as well. So you know, maybe make a note in your calendar. You kind of start seeing how it's affecting you. And this this occurs. This conjunction occurs about every 14 years. So again, you can look back 14 years and see kind of what was going on for you at that time to maybe make some correlations toward to the one that's happening this year as well.

All right. And then, May 25th, we've got Jupiter moving into Gemini, and this is going to be about expanding ideas, opening minds, opening up possibilities. and wherever it falls in your chart, wherever Gemini is in your chart. there just might be this kind of expansion of ideas and possibilities in in a really kind of helpful. harmonious way. Alright.

And then we have last, but not least we have this Jupiter squaring Saturn again, 2 of the big players. And we're gonna see this twice in 2024, because at part of that they'll make their square to each other. And then Saturn does retrograde right? And then it comes back. So they comes back to again that point where it's so squaring it again. So we'll have 2 Jupiter Square Saturn occurring. The first will be October. I'm sorry. August nineteenth, and the second will be December 24th.

And so if we think about this with Saturn being that you know in traditional strategy, it's the last planet. It's the furthest one you can see with your eyes. So it's the boundary maker.

Because it at the time of the boundary of the known universe. It was the end, and so it represents that that boundary and that kind of known versus unknown and in in with it, making a square

to Jupiter. Again, the great expander this can be in the revealer of truth.

This can be kind of a reevaluation of our beliefs, of our ideals, of our ways of thinking, of our what's the word? Paradigms?

A reevaluation of our paradigms, beliefs, and ideals and kind of just way of thinking.

And so we'll have a couple of check-ins for that as well. This is the point in a cycle of okay, there's this new newness coming in this new thing. Maybe we've created. And now there's kind of a check-in is this, you know?

Are we? Are we going in the right direction? Is this, you know? What are the what are the effects or ramifications of this new thing that we're creating and having a check in at this point to kind of reevaluate. So in the world. We might see things like that coming up in the news about some kind of reevaluation, of how we look at things, how we see the world that sort of a thing.

Okay? Next, we have the eclipses. So we have eclipses are usually around major, like they mean major beginnings, major endings. They're gonna affect you more again, if they're at critical points in your chart.

So always good to have either have a reading done or have your chart ready if you understand some of how this all works. And hopefully, I'll be doing some more videos around all of that. So if you keep following.

You'll learn a little bit along the way as well. Alright. So this coming year or this year, we're in it now, and we've got eclipses in Libra and Ares, and then we've got one in Pisces, which is a kind of preview of the upcoming series of eclipses which will be on that Libra Virgo.

I'm sorry. Pisces Virgo axis. So you learn Pisces or Virgo next year, so we'll get a little glimpse of what that might look like. So the first one's March 20 fifth, it's in Libra. So again, this could Libra, it could be around relationships or di relationship dynamics. But again, all of these will depend on where they are in your particular chart.

April eighth is in Aries a sign of new beginnings. and this one is This one is interesting because it is going across the Americas right North America. And it's starting kind of in that corner, like from Mexico, going diagonally across Texas and up into the northeast. It'll be visible along that path. So stay tuned for that one, and then September seventeenth. We've got our little peek into Pisces. and then we have october second, we have another one in Libra closing out that cycle

alright. And last, but not least, I just want to mention we don't have so many planets going into retrograde this year as we did last year, where I think at 1 point over the summer, we had

more than half the sky was retrograde. So we only have 2. We have our usual Mercury doing his 3.

We have Mercury as usual, having 3 retro grades. The first is in Ares, April first through 25th. the second is in Virgo and Leo, because it goes back into Leo for a little bit when it's retrograding, and that is from August fourth to August 20 eighth, and then the third one will be in Sagittarius, November 25th, through December fifteenth, and so retrogrades are a great time. Nothing to really fear or worry about. I'll do. I'll do a whole video on Mercury retrograde specifically. But I know Mercury gets blind a lot for a lot of things that happen that we don't like. And so I think it is another one of those things that gets a bad rap. But when mercury is retrograde, the things that it rules, which are things like communications and transportation.

Don't operate as well, and it gives us this opportunity to slow down and to take stock and review and recharge and renew. And so it's a great time for going over something again, something that you've already started. You can go back over it and check it or a project. Maybe you've started a few months ago, and you've never quite completed it. Those are great things to go and take care of and get done during a Mercury retrograde.

I just redid my website over this, this last one that just ended. So take advantage of it. Don't fear it so much, and just know that if you do have to travel, or if you do have to do some kind of major communications, type things. just plan ahead. More double check, more triple check, more. The thing that might happen is that you might have to redo the thing that you started during a Mercury retrograde, but depending on what it is that might not be a terrible thing alright. And then we have Mars going retrograde on December sixth. And Mars is the planet of action, of moving forward as passion and going after things.

That it wants right? And so when it's in retrograde, it's not able to do that's not able to have that forward motion like it normally does. And so again, this is more of a time, for not necessarily like plowing forward and getting things done and starting new projects. It's going to be much more around taking some time for introspection, a little less forward action and more inward action alright, and that closes out our 2024 very high-level review. I will each month go a little more, a little deeper into the astrology of the I will be going a little deeper into the astrology of each month moving forward. So you'll get little deeper dives of a lot of these things along with some other things that are not as major that are happening each month as well. So stay tuned for that. Glad to have you here. Click, subscribe, and I will see you in the next video

bye, for now.
