This evening and for the next few days until the 9th we are experiencing the Sun (ego, will, choices) in Leo (identity, self-expression) in tension with Jupiter (growth, increase, revealing truth) in Taurus (resources, earth, money). This energy can lend itself to over-confidence, arrogance, overreaching, and over-promising. There is a very optimistic sense that anything is possible. And this is really great! As long as it doesn’t go overboard. If there’s one thing astrology can show, it’s that there is such a thing as too much of a good thing!
During this time, we might encounter the feeling that we can do anything, if we jump, the net will appear! You might get a promotion or some sort of recognition. It might manifest more in education, learning a new school signing up for a new program. It could be spiritual growth of some sort, with Jupiter as the guru interacting with our core essence.
In the world, we might see issues with power and authority, even transitions of leadership of some sort.

Venus went retrograde on Friday, July 22, 2023. As with all retrogrades, this is a time of renewal, revisiting, and revision; only now with the Venus theme of art, beauty, sexuality, friendships, and harmony from a heart-centered perspective.
With Uranus in the equation, creating some tension, we can expect unexpected breakthroughs, there is a quality of refreshing relationships, bringing a new, innovative quality to them, or to self-love and image.
There is an opportunity to re-imagine our definition of pleasure and desire and what allows us to feel good. It’s time to push the limit on how you allow yourself to feel, desire, and experience pleasure.

Mercury, the planet of the mind, thought, and communication is expanded by Jupiter. This might be a great time to learn something Venusian or earthy (Taurus), but also practical or functional (Virgo). Mercury is coming out of its opposition with Saturn in which it was pressured to “Figure it out”, and now Jupiter is providing the expansiveness to actually manage it and make it happen
August 13 Venus Cazimi
When a planet is Cazimi, it means it is within 16 minutes of the Sun on either side. It is a powerful moment, not at the time of the Cazimi necessarily, but more so as the planet moves away from the Sun. It is like when a sick person is treated, at that moment, they might not be at their best, but afterward, they begin to gain more and more strength.
This is a renewal time for Venus; a rebirthing if you will, in which there can be sudden, revolutionary healing and rebirth, in the area of our desires, pleasures, or “beautification”. There might be an “aha” around what is actually desired, as opposed to what we thought we wanted.
