Venus

Astrologically, Venus represents our capacity to attract, to love, to collaborate and harmonize. Linguistically, as a verb it is “to unite with” or “to attract”. Venus or Aphrodite, as she was known by the greeks, governed love, beauty, sex, fertility and harmony. She can also represent art and music.

In astrology, she is considered the lesser benefic, and so, in general, a more “positive” planet. She forms relationships in order to connect with something bigger than herself (Understanding the Birth Chart - Kevin Burk)
