Energy Level 1

This is the first of the levels as described in this post. Level 1 energy is in the lower, ego level of the circle of self. It is one of the catabolic energies, meaning it has a more destructive or breaking down quality to it. Trust levels are low at this level and there is a perceived lack that needs to be filled.

This is the archetype of the victim – feeling that the world is out to get them and there is little or no control over their own environment. The core feeling is that of apathy, a lack of enthusiasm or interest, a sense of helplessness. What happens from this is not much. There is an inability to take action due to this sense of lethargy and lack of initiative.

Saturn is assigned to this level because Saturn is the planet of boundaries and restrictions or constrictions – it makes things smaller. Yet, the answer also lies in what Saturn asks us to do – COMMIT. What small thing can you commit to in order to shift the energy?
