What Happens in an Astrological Consultation
What Happens in an Astrology Consultation?
Once you have given me the date, time and location of your birth, I will create a chart that represents the “image” of the sky at the moment of your birth.
This image, called a horoscope, looks like a circle divided into 12 pieces. These pieces are called “Houses” and represent the areas of your life such as relationships, finances and health.
The top half of the circle shows what was in the sky, i.e., the planets and points above the horizon when you were born, while the bottom of the chart approximately represents the planets and points that were below the horizon. The various locations of the planets and other important points correlate to personal things about you and events in your life, which I then analyze.
When we have our session, I spend about 30 minutes delineating the meaning of these things as they pertain to you and your personality. I then spend another 30 minutes or so going over potential themes for the coming year. The rest of the consultation is spent answering your questions and or covering anything that wasn’t covered to your satisfaction. If you’ve already had a reading with me, we spend just one hour and eliminate the personality portion of the session.
You receive a copy of your chart, a handout of the meanings of the symbols on your chart and a copy of the recording of the session. Most people like to get an astrology reading once a year and or whenever big changes are happening in their lives.
Astrology can also be used to time important events such as the sale of a house or business, the creation of a business or start of a project, etc. Horary astrology can be used to ask more divinatory questions such as “Will I get into that school?”.
